Her Haven Empowerment Circle was founded in 2025 by Marisa Mason, driven by a deep commitment to creating a safe and supportive space for women in need. What began as a passion to make a meaningful impact has grown into a community that provides trauma informed support, connection, and practical tools for women navigating unsafe environments and major life transitions.

Marisa Mason was born and raised in New Jersey, shaped by a close-knit community of family and friends who supported her as she navigated culturally diverse environments and complex life experiences. From an early age, Marisa faced profound challenges, including trauma, abandonment, fractured family relationships, and periods of homelessness. These lived experiences became the foundation of her commitment to advocacy and service.
Driven by a deep sense of purpose, Marisa pursued higher education as a pathway to stability and leadership. She earned an Associate’s Degree, two Bachelor’s Degrees, and a Master’s Degree in Business Management with a specialization in Public Administration. Her academic journey strengthened her ability to lead programs that are both compassionate and structurally sound.
A woman of faith and an author, Marisa is committed to walking in her purpose, leading by example, and sharing her journey to encourage and inspire others. Her work focuses on helping individuals move through challenges and live with intention and clarity.
At Her Haven Empowerment Circle, Marisa supports women and families as they reclaim their identity, rebuild their lives, and move forward with intention and dignity.
